Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard Primer Undercoat is a professional-grade water-based primer and undercoat designed to prepare interior wood surfaces before applying a decorative topcoat. Its advanced formulation provides excellent adhesion to bare timber, previously painted wood and other suitably prepared surfaces, helping to create a smooth, even base for a high-quality finish.
Developed to work seamlessly with the Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard range, this primer undercoat improves the appearance, durability and overall performance of Aqua Guard Gloss, Satin and Matt finishes. Its high-opacity formula offers excellent coverage while helping to reduce resin and timber staining, ensuring a clean, consistent finish on interior joinery.
Suitable for application by brush, roller or spray, Aqua Guard Primer Undercoat covers up to 13m² per litre and is ideal for use on doors, skirting boards, architraves, window frames and other interior woodwork.
