Description
KA Tanking Slurry is a high-performance cementitious waterproofing system designed to protect concrete, masonry, brickwork, blockwork and other cementitious substrates against water penetration, leakage and damp ingress.
Once mixed with clean water, the slurry is applied directly to a suitably prepared, damp mineral surface. Its dual crystalline and surface action helps seal pores and capillaries within the substrate, forming a durable waterproof barrier. The crystalline action can also reactivate when future water contact occurs, providing long-term protection.
KA Tanking Slurry is suitable for both internal and external applications and can be used on new or existing structurally sound surfaces. It is particularly useful for waterproofing basements, cellars, retaining walls, foundation slabs, lift shafts, garages, swimming pools, reservoirs, water tanks, tunnels, irrigation channels, bathrooms and kitchens.
It can also be used as a waterproof render on walls prior to plastering, or on floors before applying a self-levelling compound. The system is designed to become integral with the mineral substrate, helping prevent delamination, blistering and peeling.
