Description
UltraTile ProRapid RS is a single-part, polymer-modified flexible rapid-set tile adhesive designed for both wall and floor tiling. It combines enhanced adhesion and flexibility with rapid setting, making it an excellent choice when a faster installation is required.
Suitable for a wide range of ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles, ProRapid RS can be used across a variety of common substrates and is particularly well suited to wet areas, swimming pools, external applications and underfloor heating systems. Instarmac specifically highlights ProRapid RS as one of its best-selling indoor and outdoor adhesives for pool tiling.
One of its biggest advantages is its rapid setting time. The adhesive has a pot life of approximately 60 minutes at 20°C, can accommodate light foot traffic in around 3 hours, and has a set time of approximately 2.5 hours, making it particularly useful for time-sensitive tiling projects.
ProRapid RS can be applied at 3–16mm bed thickness, giving it useful versatility for different tiling requirements. For floors and external applications, Instarmac recommends a solid-bed application method to achieve full contact between the adhesive, substrate and tile.
